Each month, half of the other 102 characters are randomly picked for the Spotlight and get a big weight boost. Nobody knows who’s next until the month begins.

The other half sit at base weight this month — still earning, just waiting for their spotlight month to roll around.

Every month the 102 non-Genesis characters are reshuffled at random into Spotlight (×4) and Base (×1). A fresh roll of the dice each round — but a fair one: across the 12 months, every character lands the same number of spotlight months. Which marmots are hot keeps changing, so keep yours staked and watch the board move.
The percentages above assume the whole collection is staked — if fewer marmots are in the vault, each staked marmot earns a bigger slice. However it shakes out, a Genesis marmot always earns 8× a base marmot, and a spotlight marmot 4×. NFA, it’s just for fun 😁
